How to Handle Partial Allotments

Sometimes the SPV can't invest all funds:

Example Scenario:

Pool Raised: ₦50,000,000
SPV Bid: ₦50,000,000
Government Allocated: ₦40,000,000
Result: ₦10,000,000 excess

What Happens:

  1. Your shares represent your % of ₦40M invested

  2. Your excess % is calculated

  3. You can claim excess immediately

  4. Small fee (0.1%) covers gas costs

Your Position:

You Invested: ₦5,000,000 (10% of pool)
Allocated: ₦4,000,000 (10% of ₦40M)
Excess Refund: ₦1,000,000
Fee: ₦1,000 (0.1%)
You Receive: ₦999,000

└── Total Annual Income: $800

Claiming Process:

  2. Sends to pool contract

  3. Your share auto-calculated

  4. Claim anytime or let it compound

How to Manage Multiple Positions

Portfolio Strategy:

Diversified Portfolio:
├── 30% - 90-day T-Bills (safer, liquid)
├── 40% - 180-day bonds (medium term)
├── 20% - Commercial paper (higher yield)
└── 10% - Cash reserve
